If you’re an avid reader or friend of mind than you know that in January my husband passed away suddenly after a week long stay in the hospital for what we all thought was a sinus infection and high liver enzyme count. Who would have ever thought my husband was terminally ill with cancer at only 35 years old? It has been just over two months since Sean was called home and every day presents new challenges for me to overcome and deal with. Sean would have wanted the kids and I to keep on living and enjoy life to it’s fullest, so that’s what we are doing, and will continue to do.

Up until this point I really didn’t known the right way to go about sharing such a personal thing with my blog family, but I think this is a good start. I’m sorry for taking so long to update. Blogging and answering e-mails have been difficult for me, but everyday I try. I look for inspiration wherever I can find it.
A huge thank you to everyone that donated and continues to donate to The Cruz Memorial Fund. Your comments, tweet, IG comments, FB messages and cards have all been read and truly mean the world to me during this difficult time.
And one more thing. I’m building a house y’all! Ground hasn’t even been broken yet but hopefully after the Easter holiday is over everything can start. Look for updates, coming soon.
