If your children are anything like mine, then they have already written out their holiday wish-list, and it’s longer than ever. My two children are begging for everything under the sun this year. If my kids have seen it on YouTube, or in a catalog or even on TV, they must have it. My 5-year old son has circled everything in the toy catalog from our favorite store.
Seanie, my son, is excited for the holidays and is really hoping for some Paw Patrol toys, a new bike, camouflage gear to wear when hunting, new cowboy boots, a Play Station, and a lot of NERF guns. My 9-year old daughter, Jasmine doesn’t want as much, just a Harley Davidson motorcycle (yeah right!), leather chaps, jacket, riding and boots.
I love giving my children what they want, but getting the two of them to do what I want and to use their manners once in a while other story. My children are sweet, they mean well, but sometimes they forget to say please. Are your kids the same way?
I recently received Give Please a Chance in the mail and I read it to my children last night before bed. They laughed at the illustrations and really enjoyed the book. We read the book twice! A few of the children in the book reminded Seanie of himself, which made him laugh uncontrollably.
Keep reading! I’m giving away a prize pack which includes a copy of Give Please a Chance and a $50 Visa gift card!
