Celebrate National Oreo Day with TCBY Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt. To celebrate Nation Oreo Day I wanted to try some TCBY Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt, knowing there was now an excuse to enjoy such a delicious treat I didn’t feel bad at all. Leaving the kids behind I headed for the closest Walmart. Going to the store by yourself is a major treat, kind of like a mini vacation. You can check out more of my shop in my Google+ album. I was happily surprised when I found a large selection of TCBY Frozen Yogurt at Walmart. I couldn’t believe the price, amazing. Look how pretty the packaging is too.

In honor of Nation Oreo Day I reached for the TCBY Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt first. I knew my husband would be thrilled, TCBY use to be his  favorite place to go get frozen yogurt. Pulling TCBY right out of my freezer at home is so much more convenient then loading the kids in the car to go out. I grabbed just about every kind they had. I even bought some Classic Vanilla Sandwiches. Having a new Walmart so close to my house is a major plus now. No longer do I have to worry about all my frozen goodies melting before I get home.

My daughter and I baked some sugar cookies, they were hardly homemade but we did add M&Ms during the baking process so I guess it’s safe to say they were semi-homemade. The two of us decided last-minute to bake up some chocolate chip cookies as well. It never hurts to have too many cookies lying around. The two of us had fun, my little helper loves helping mommy bake.

We love variety in our house so I made sure we had a few difference choices for toppings. I didn’t use all I had bought, saving the chocolate syrup and whip cream for later. I did crunch up some Oreo cookies in honor of National Oreo Day. Nothing goes better with Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt then more cookies. Although it’s fun to add yummy toppings to this frozen yogurt I found that straight out of the carton is just as good. I enjoyed a bowl the other night while watching TV with my husband.

After spending some time in the kitchen helping me bake cookies, Jasmine was finally able to taste test one of her creations. I think it’s safe to say she really enjoyed her treat. The entire family had our fresh homemade TCBY Frozen Yogurt Cookie Sandwiches after dinner, they were a real treat. It wasn’t until after we gobbled down our treats that I fessed up and told my husband he had just eaten frozen yogurt, needless to say I had to prove it by showing him the cartons afterwards.

She was speechless. It’s safe to say, she enjoyed her frozen yogurt sandwich.

Each serving only has 130 calories and there is 7 types of probiotics as well. Peace of mind is hard to come by, especially when serving my family a delicious treat. It’s nice to know that TCBY Frozen Yogurt is taking care of my family. My family and I had a blast trying TCBY Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt in honor of National Oreo Day.

How do you plan on enjoying your TCBY?
