Say goodbye to seeing your kids play outdoor on Sunday afternoons and a brief hello to your kids while they are engrossed in a competitive and thrilling video game in front of their PC, laptop or gaming device. However, as a mom, you should know what sort of games your kids are playing and which games should be allowed. If you are not into gaming, no worries. Here are 4 of the latest games that are quite good for children of all age groups:
Sea of Thieves:
Developed by Rare, Sea of Thieves is about pirates and their adventure in the open sea. Form a group of pirates with your friends, build a ship and set out across the seven seas to unlock levels and discover hidden treasures. This game is by far the best invention of Rare.
Released in 2014, WildStar is still a popular game among children of all ages. The massively multiplayer role playing game is free to play now on Steam, but you have to pay for the downloadable content. Created by Carbine Studios and published by NCSOFT, the game is perfect for both novices and pro MMORPG players.
The game is divided into two factions each competing to take the control of Nexus, the lost home of Eldan- a super advanced race that sets the bar for a familiar two-sided confrontation. The graphics, voice over, voice recordings and effects add to the cinematography of this game. The story is revealed in bits and pieces, keeping the players engaged and curious till the end.
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam
Released in 2017, this adrenaline-rush game was developed by Tripwire. The Rising Storm 2 changes the game’s setting to the Pacific Theater of World War II. Marines against Imperial Japan, the players move from one island to another. The place where all the action is taking place is Vietnam.See the modern weapons like AK-47 and M-16 in action! The game renders the graphical animation of real-life wars.
The commanders control everything in the game and choose where the plane or helicopter with friendly pilots would land and bring reinforcements, when needed. They can also mark the target and the objective for attack.
Super Mario Run:
Nintendo’s first smartphone game got so popular that it was quickly made available on various online platforms such as Friv and Juegos Friv. Before the dawn of smartphones and other portable devices, Mario was a popular game for PC and consoles. Due to the advancements in mobile gaming, Nintendo had to bring Mario for iOS and Android devices to remain a part of the video game industry.
Mario has been the biggest and most renowned franchise of Nintendo, along with Pokemon. Super Mario Run may seem like any other old-style side-scrolling game, but it’s in fact a mindless runner, same as you see inCanabalt and Temple Run. Mario automatically runs to the right of the screen allowing you to control his jumps. A small click will result in a short hop, while for a long jump you need to hold your finger down. You have 24 levels to complete, which are spread across 6 worlds. The game’s architecture is different from Super Mario Bros throwing your way obstacles like fireballs and saw blades. You can choose among six unique characters, but they can only be unlocked after completing a certain number of levels. As much exhilarating these characters are, you will witness many repetitions in the game. It’s a promising start by Nintendo, but they have to work hard to match the likes of Subway Surfer, Temple Run and other running games.
