Summer is almost here, and after a year of working without a break—whether that means performing surgeries or manufacturing airport barricades—taking a vacation sounds steller universal studios.
But where should you go? It’s got to be something that you will enjoy, but also your kids. Luckily, we’ve got just the place: Universal Studios theme park.
There are tons of things to do and see, and even if you’re kids aren’t big enough to tackle the fastest coasters in the park yet, there are still some insanely fun rides they can enjoy.
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
What kid doesn’t love Spider-Man? The web-swinging hero has his very own ride at Universal, and it’s definitely not one to skip on.
You only need to be 40 inches tall to join Spidey as he battles through the city against some of his most recognizable foes.
The unique part about this ride is how it incorporates 3D technology with movement to make you feel like you and your kids are truly swinging through the air with Spider-Man himself.
Just be sure to watch out for villains like Electro and The Green Goblin, as they’ll try to shock your ride and hurl flaming fireballs at you, which are actually pretty hot!
Jurrasic Park River Adventure
If you’re prepared to get wet, the Jurrasic Park River Adventure is a great experience. With a height requirement of 42 inches, you and your kids will all probably be able to enter Jurrasic Park and face the majestic creatures that await.
The ride starts when you hop in a raft and float along a river that is full of different herbivores, some big and some small, and some that even spray you with water.
But by the end of the adventure, carnivores have taken over the park and the only way to escape is by getting past a monster T Rex! The plunge is over 85 feet, but if you and your kids don’t mind the drop, it makes for a perfect ride.
Men in Black: Alien Attack
Men in Black: Alien Attack is the perfect ride for families. The height requirement is only 42 inches and there aren’t any speeding railways or sharp turns, so even if your child isn’t a fan of coasters, they’ll be able to handle this one.
The premise is pretty simple, but still fun, being that the entire ride is a slow-moving cruise through an alien-invaded New York.
It’s your job to blast the aliens with your laser gun—available to all riders—and get the high score out of everyone on your ride.
It’s a nice change of pace from whooshing coasters and spinning attractions and acts as a good buffer between the high-intensity thrills.
Get Ready for an Unforgettable Experience
These are only a handful of the amazing rides at Universal Studios, but there are plenty more that your kids can enjoy, such as.
The Simpsons Ride, Harry Potter’s Forbidden Journey, and anything at Seuss Landing. What are you waiting for? Grab your tickets and book your flight!
