Let’s talk about book for a bit. With so many great movies coming out lately, it’s imperative that I read the books first. I’ve learned this the hard way. So many times a movie ruins a good book. I always find comfort in knowing the book is usually always better than the movie.

never judge a book by its movie

Already Read

I normally wouldn’t list books I’ve already read, but I’m pretty proud that I’ve managed to carve out a bit of time for myself every day to do something that brings me so much joy.

Want to Read

And basically all of these books, some of which I already mentioned above. >>>>>>

Here is a great list of books to read this year before they hit theaters…most of these have already hit theaters, but if you haven’t seen them yet then definitely read them first. Most of these are on my list of books I want to read. >>>>>>

Currently Reading

Every time I buy a new book, I tend to splurge and go for the hardcover edition. I want to create a beautiful library of books to leave my children and to share with friends.

Now it’s your turn. What are you currently reading, want to read, or have read? I’d love to know.

Hey there, I’m Tiffany! I’m a work-at-home mom of two rambunctious children (Jasmine, 9 + Sean II, 5) and recently widowed at just 35 years old. I've remarried and currently live right outside of Baton Rouge in Denham Springs, Louisiana with two adoring cats and a dog. Let's connect on Twitter @fabulousmomblog.

  1. Right now reading is on the back burner for me. I’m just too busy to sit down and read. Hopefully, I can squeeze in some reading time in the near future.

  2. I wish I had more time to read. There are so many great books I would love to add to my bucket reading list.

  3. There are so many great books out there. As for the ones turned into a movie or vice versa, I love to find the similarities and differences in them.

  4. I’m reading Neil Gaimen’s American Gods. I use Goodreads to track what I want to read next.

  5. Oh my gosh, I miss reading. After I had my kid it’s like reading just stopped. I did manage to read one whole novel last month though, so maybe things are turning around 🙂

  6. I haven’t read an actual book in a coupe years. Last was the Hunger Game series. I want to see If I Stay. Now you have me wanting to read the book first.
