Amazonian clay waterproof liner with double-ended brushThere are many things this week that I’m loving! One of them being Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner with Double-Ended Brush ($24) in black from tarte cosmetics. I went ahead and treated myself last week and ordered a few things from the comfort of my own home. Let me just tell you, the new clay liner that I now own is simply AMAZING, and yes, that was me yelling. I stopped trying to apply eye liner a few years ago. I could never find an easy application method, but the Amazonian Clay liner goes on so smooth and the slight bend in the application brush makes a world of difference. It lasts all day and I can go as thin or as thick with my liner and I never mess up. I’m totally 100% rocking the cat eye look lately, my husband really digs it. The Amazonian Clay Liner is highly pigmented and the liner won’t run down your face if you get caught out in the rain without your umbrella. I highly recommend this product. It’s definitely my favorite new product of the week.

The liner wasn’t my only purchase from tarte last week. I also decided to splurge a bit and try their new Colored Clay CC PrimerColored Clay CC Primer ($34). I’m so happy that I added the cc primer to my cart. It comes in 5 shades, so I went with the lightest, Fair. This Colored Clay CC Primer easily blends into my skin for an even, all-over airbrushed look and I didn’t even have to add foundation afterwards. For the past few days I’ve only used this product, maybe just a little extra concealer under my eyes, but that’s it. My skin feels silky, and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a mask. I’m very impressed with this little tube of primer. I was a bit of a skeptic at first, but not any more. This is a product that I’ll be buying again in the future. And did I mention how quickly my items were shipping? It was amazing. I placed my order on Thursday, Jan. 9th and it was delivered first thing Monday morning on Jan. 13th. Sure beats fighting the crowds and long lines at Sephora with two young children in tow.

With my excitement for my tarte order out of the way, I can now tell you about what else I’m obsessing over lately.

  • My latest delivery of Keurig Kcups from Cross Country Cafe. Yum alert! If you’re a coffee addict like I am and you own a Keurig then you’re going to want to check out the rock bottom prices at Cross Country Cafe. You can thank me later.
  • My Madison Reed delivery. I have yet to use the color but I plan on trying to color my hair by myself at home in the next couple of days. I just really loved that because I ordered from Madison Reed, I was given a free bottle of Julep nail polish. How awesome is that?! Talk about perks.
  • I’m digging Bloglovin’. I think I was on it for a hot second way back in 2007 when I first started blogging. Well folks, it’s official, I’m back on Bloglovin’ and I’m lovin’ it!
  • I’m super excited, next month I’ll have a photo shoot with Tate Tullier. I can’t wait to have some professional photos of myself on my blog. I’ve been wanting to do this for so long. 2014 is all about making things happen, and this is something I’ve wanted checked off my list forever.
  • I really want this NARS NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette.
  • This Chopped Pasta Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing Recipe over on MomSpark.net looks absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to try and recreate it for my family.
  • Lately, my husband has been playing online bingo, and it’s a bit addictive. He’s thinking about checking out Paddy Power and playing there. Have any of you ever thought about paying bingo online?

What have you been obsessing over?

  1. I don’t know if I could do eyeliner like that. You’d have to be so precise with that brush & powder. i’d look like I would have two black eyes!
