Sudafed OPEN UP and share for a chance to win $5000 #SudafedOpenUp. To take your pain and turn it into cold hard cash, keep reading.

We have been dealing with the flu and sinus conjestion at our house since the beginning of October. My daughter and husband both have had the flu, and I was suffering from severe sinus pressure and congestion. If I’m outdoors longer than a few hours I always get a headache and it feels as if I can’t breathe. The pressure gets so bad that it hurts to put my head down or even pick up something off the ground. Since relocating to Louisiana, I now suffer from allergies and sinus pressure.

I often say that my sinus pressure feels like a 10 lbs weight sitting on my forehead, nose, and cheeks, right under my eyes. Although my sinus pressure is at times severe I don’t let that stop me from going outside with my kids and having fun. I take Sudafed often and was on their Facebook page the other day and I saw their new Sudafed OPEN UP™ application. It was interesting to see what other people compare their sinus pressure to.

That’s me there, with bloodshot eyes and a look of desperation on my face. It’s easy to upload your own photo, use the editing tools, and stickers.

Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to OPEN UP. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.

Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

  1. Sinus pressure is the worst and I’ve only had a sinus infection once but never want to experience that again. My daughter suffers with this so need to alert her to this brand to see if it could give her relief during those times.

  2. Sudafed is the only brand of decongestant I use. Honestly, the generic stuff just does not work. Thanks for sharing this. I HATE suffering from allergies and congestion!

  3. I use Sudafed and I’m glad I do, it has always been one brand that helps me with my sinus. I can’t stand that pressure!

  4. I love contests like these where it leaves you the ability to be super creative.. can’t wait to see the finalists!!

  5. Sinus pressure is absolutely the worst pain! I hate it and am so glad I’m fully stocked up with Sudafed when I do experience it.
